More on the floods of Coldstream on February 23, 2010 Coldstream 02/23/2010 Flood
continue with the series of videos. We continue on February 23, 2010. On this day a machine of the City Council tried to block the Mill bridge over the Guadiana Machine so that the water overflowed the Azuer be retained and climb up Zuacorta road, along the motilla of The Machine. At that time was Jose Manuel Hernandez of environmentalists on the Board of Tables of Coldstream that was sympathetic to what was being done. Shortly after the machine left the scene.

Union of "two points" of the Guadiana, near Griñón in Coldstream
On 16 February 2010, the Guadiana was one from "The Machine" to Ayamonte. Here you can see where the binding occurs in the normal course Guadiana (with Azuer waters) and the Guadiana remontant coming from Las Tablas, turn the Gigüela which in turn are Peñarroya Swamp waters.

natural recharge of a well at La Peña, Coldstream
I'll show you how it has been burdened with a completely natural way existing well in the La Peña. At first I thought it was an eye or sink, but then I realized that it must be a well in the farm. As we saw earlier eye-sinks, leaks into the ground around the natural channel of the Guadiana are constant. Friday, May 21, 2010

Gully Guadiana (Eye) flowing water in La Peña, Coldstream 02/16/2010 Guadiana
I'll show you some pictures that I consider most spectacular of the Guadiana river passing through Coldstream. In particular you see below is a sink of Guadiana (or rather an Eye) spurting water (not subcionándola). The river flows a few meters, so check the infiltration of ground. Since then have been a few months where the Geology and Earth Sciences have been able to study well in the field.
also dramatically encintrado sink several feet above the riverbed and filled with water. Until that day subsidence sinks were found without water or along the river that "absorvió" all they got.

Overview of the union of "two points "of the Guadiana in Coldstream on 16-02-2010
I offer you the panoramic view of the historic day of 16/02/2010 when the Guadiana retrogressive from Tables Coldstream, water really Ruidera from The Swamp through Gigüela Peñarroya, joins with the waters of the Guadiana, really, are those of Azuer. Exciting because one could claim that day que el Guadiana era uno desde Daimiel hasta Ayamonte. Hacía más de 30 años que eso no sucedía. Solo quedaba sin agua el tramo desde Los Ojos hasta La Máquina.

16/02/2010, the Guadiana back to Griñón from Tables of Coldstream
El 16 de febrero de 2010, martes de carnaval, el río Guadiana remontó desde Las Tablas de Daimiel hasta el Molino de Griñón, algo que no sucedía desde 1996. Las Tablas estaban llenas y la presa de Puente Navarro, junto a la opening the floodgates of Molemocho Mill, Guadiana gateway to Las Tablas, had caused water to go up by the Guadiana river upstream.
These are the Images of that historic day.

... And on the fifth day Griñón swallowed the Guadiana, Guadiana 20.01.2010
Just five days after the arrival of Guadiana Griñón, following the natural course of the river, the earth would swallow all the water providing truly the Azuer. The tributary had lost force these days, despite carrying a good supply, this was lost in the eye of the Peña. The lowering of water levels left to escubierto the real "minefield" that had become the channel of the Guadiana to Mill doors wimple.

Griñón The first flood of the Guadiana. Coldstream 15/01/2010
The January 15, 2010 was a historic day for Coldstream. Guadiana almost swamped the first time in nearly 30 añosla Griñón area. Flooding caused by the natural river side. Do not miss the "bubbles" that appear along the river bed and great eye of the mill, which shows how the whole area is connected. These bubbles are the product of the nosh-up of the river and water that comes through that internal communication.

State Griñón Mill area before the floods of the Guadiana, Guadiana 13.01.2010
I press the chronological sequence of events of the resurgence of the Guadiana River. I put the images taken on January 13, 2010, when the still waters of the Guadiana-Azuer had failed conquer the whole area. I think it is good to see how it was that awful area (its horrible environmental conservation) before the first great flood from the Azuer. So you can have an idea of \u200b\u200bhow the situation has changed in just one month, and we will see, almost step by step, how it evolved. I hope this
to realize the mysterious and exciting than this wonderful and still Guadiana river reborn.

THE WATER FROM "THE MACHINE" TO "BRIDGE NAVARRO" historic day in Coldstream, 16/02/1910
Today is a historic day. The Guadiana river carries water from the flour mill of "The Machine, where the Azuer flows into the Guadiana, until Navarro Bridge, exit door of the tables, which also is full and by or the river could reach the next mill Flor de Ribera. So the river runs through the windmills of La Machine, The New Griñón, Molemocho (gateway to Las Tablas) and Navarro Bridge (exit door Tables). Flor de Ribera would just downstream from Las Tablas. I can not say for sure, but probably not occurred for over 30 years. I leave a breakthrough. The image is of poor quality but in the coming days I will upload a full report.
The tip that goes up the river and the lower you have gathered about 300 meters from the bridge over the River pipeline in Griñón (Tables sense Coldstream). Both streams are force so that we can not predict what will happen.

Virtual Tour Guadiana in Coldstream. Locate the sites where the videos were made
With a restless, like me, what is happening around the Guadiana, Azuer and Tables of Coldstream, I found a virtual tour across the Guadiana river environment from birth in Los Ojos . It is impressive and shows the insanity that was channeled artificially river. You can easily locate where the videos were recorded.
My congratulations to the author of the virtual tour and advice to those who dare to go out and visit the area: CAUTION. This video will met on the forum page www.embalses.net , a site tremendously suited for those who want to know much more about the situation of the Guadiana River, its tributaries and Tables of Coldstream. Really recommend it.
