Reading Circle in Madrid organized by the Fondo de Cultura Economica in Spain

D ince the English subsidiary of the Mexican publisher Fondo de Cultura Economica comes the invitation to the Reading Circle is being organized from the Juan Rulfo Library and the theme of "Literature and the Border" The study will address four major works of this interesting narrative authors such as Elmer Mendoza, Yuri Herrera, Daniel Sada or Julian Herbert.

sessions lasting one hour and forty five minutes will be carried out in four hours: Tuesdays 10 and 24 May, 7 and 21 June on site of Juan Rulfo's Bookstore located at 86 Ferdinand Street near Moncloa metro station.

Content: The cycle of Mexican literature: Literature and boundary address a series of clues to understanding the landscape and the problems of life on the Mexican border with the United States. Liliana Pedroza (Chihuahua, Mexico, 1976), who is the coordinator of this literary encounter, is a fiction writer and essayist. BA in English Literature at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua with studies Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies from the University Complutense of Madrid. She has taught college literature in Chihuahua, Mexico and visiting professor at the University of Montreal. He has taught creative workshops in various cities of his country and led reading circles.
