Well, today unveiled the record that the jurors of different sections have been granted after a week of hard work watching and evaluating the work to competition.
So we learned that the Cooperation and Development Award for Best Film, awarded by the AECI (English Agency for Cooperation and Development, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation) and therefore Award for Best Feature Film of the sample has been for the Mexican film: "The Attack" of Jorge Fons . This award is endowed with a purse of 25,000 euros.
Other Mexican films also won awards in this festival were:
- Catalunya Casa de América Award for Best Screenplay: 'Dreadnought' of
- Best First Film: 'Dreadnought' of Álvaro Curiel.
Short:
- Special Jury Mention: "The Pit" of Guillermo Arriaga.
